Andrew Cuevas is the President and a shareholder of Cuevas, Ortiz & Cubas, P.A. He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and has a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. In 1993 Mr. Cuevas received his Juris Doctor from the School of Law at Boston University in Massachusetts, and since 1993 has been licensed to practicing law in the State of Florida.

Mr. Cuevas legal practice includes transactions and litigation in the areas of condominium law and homeowner association law, corporate/commercial law, real estate law (including representation of real estate developers), and consulting foreign investors on business and immigration transactions in the United States.

Mr. Cuevas is on the boards of several nonprofit charitable organizations and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Coral Gables Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Community Associations Institute. Mr. Cuevas is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida for the practice of Federal Litigation.

Mr. Cuevas is authorized by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to present continuing education seminars for licensed community association managers. Mr. Cuevas also presents seminars in several South American countries, including Argentina, Venezuela, Paraguay and Colombia, for investors and professionals who wish to immigrate and/or conduct business in the United States.

Roberto Juan Ortiz is the Vice President and a shareholder of Cuevas, Ortiz & Cubas, P.A. He received his Bachelor in Business Management and Organization degree from the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida. Mr. Ortiz received his Juris Doctor degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law, in Miami, Florida. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. Mr. Ortiz is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida for the practice of Federal litigation.

Mr. Ortiz is a member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is also an active member of several business organizations, including Business Networking International.

Mr. Ortiz practices law in several areas, including business immigration, family-based immigration, and litigation.

Mr. Ortiz has also presented seminars in several Central and South American countries, including Colombia, Guatemala, and Venezuela for investors and professionals who wish to immigrate and/or conduct business in the United States.

Alexander G. Cubas

Alexander G. Cubas is the Secretary and a shareholder of Cuevas, Ortiz & Cubas, P.A. and President and shareholder of Palmetto Title Services, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and American History from the University of Miami, in Coral Gables, Florida in 1988. Mr. Cubas received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, School of Law, in Coral Gables, Florida in 1995. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida.

Mr. Cubas is a member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Bar Association, the Real Property Probate and Trust Section of the Florida Bar, and the Miami-Dade County Attorneys’ Real Estate Council. He is also an active member of Business Networking International.

Mr. Cubas specializes in the real estate law and title insurance law practices law.

Jonathan S. Goldstein

Jonathan S. Goldstein is an Associate Attorney at Cuevas, Ortiz & Cubas, P.A. His practice areas of focus are community association law, litigation and commercial and corporate transactional work. He received his Bachelors Degree in English from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. Mr. Goldstein is admitted to practice in Florida.
