Florida families told to leave unsafe apartment building

When it comes to real estate matters, there are times when difficult decisions have to be made. Unfortunately, disagreements between landlords and tenants can become particularly contentious in Miami, especially when a tenant is evicted from the Florida home or apartment they are renting. For both parties, understanding where the law stands and taking steps to avoid unnecessary complications is very important.

A number of families in Florida are upset after they recently found out that they had to leave the apartment building they were renting because is was seen as unsafe following a building inspection. In fact, one person who was living in the complex claims that the landlord failed to inform tenants of the eviction even though the landlord was aware of the issue 90 days in advance.

In all, 14 families were informed at 8 a.m. that they had to leave the building by 6 p.m. on the same day. To make matters worse, the eviction happened during the holiday season and some tenants said that they will have difficulty finding affordable housing. Moreover, some who had to leave had paid the month's rent, adding to their financial complications.

For many people, resolving a real estate dispute can be incredibly challenging. However, anyone who is going through this personally should take every precaution to avoid making the situation even tougher. Depending on the nature of the disagreement, some people who are in the middle of a landlord-tenant dispute have found value in turning to an experienced legal professional for help.
