Foreclosure impacts all income levels, including celebrities

Many Florida residents have encountered challenging financial times. Sometimes, all it takes is a few months of being financially off track for a minor problem to turn into a full-blown crisis. Some right their ship before things get out of hand. For others, problems like foreclosure threaten life as they know it. Many financial problems are temporary provided those affected know where to seek debt relief support.

The experiences of several stars of the “Real Housewives” reality TV franchise underscore that a financial crisis can impact all income levels, even celebrities. Cast member Jacqueline Laurita’s home has gone in and out of the foreclosure process more than once. She was able to stop the process the first time, but her financial problems apparently persisted.

Most recently, one of the newer stars on the show, Margaret Josephs, received a foreclosure notice on the home she purchased for a little more than $1 million. In fact, her situation involves two homes. She and her husband, Joseph Benigno, apparently took out mortgages on two properties that sit next door to each other.

The bank is reportedly threatening to take over ownership of both houses. Although these individuals happen to be celebrities, such situations can affect anyone, including Florida residents who live far more average lifestyles. In any case, it can be helpful to rely on an experienced attorney who can provide recommendations as to what may be the most viable option in a particular situation for avoiding foreclosure and restoring financial stability.
